Today I could feel Little Birdie moving from the outside. I know it is still too early but I am trying to learn her movement patterns. It is 10am right now and she is moving around. I have noticed her moving around this time before. I plan to start doing kick counts when I get further along. I found this website that explains what they are and how to do them.
http://www.americanpregnancy.org/duringpregnancy/kickcounts.htm
It suggests starting when you are 28 weeks which means I have about 8 more weeks to go before I can officially start counting her kicks.
I feel so much better now that I can feel her moving. There will still be days where I won't feel her moving at least for a couple more weeks and those will be hard but I have the heart dopplor at home so I can listen to her heartbeat to give me some peace of mind.
I just bought the first things for her this past weekend. Here are some pictures of the outfits Alec (her big sister) and I bought.

19 weeks 1 day
I know this is a little late but I wanted to post an update of my last doctor appointment. I went on June 16 for my monthly checkup when I was 19 weeks and 1 day. I had many concerns about aches and pains I have been having. Mostly about the shortness of breath and my heart beating hard which the doctor reassured me was normal. They checked my oxygen levels which were 97%. My blood pressure was 166/22 and my weight was 199lbs.
The baby is measuring good and the babies heartbeat is still in the 150s. I've been having a lot of round ligament pain more than I did last time around.
My next appointment is June 23rd for the 20 week ultrasound so I should have some more photos of Little Birdie to post by this weekend. Looking forward to seeing her again and confirming that she is in fact a she.
Here is a picture of me from that morning.
